Vladislav Zhdanov was appointed as Vice President of ALROSA, starting from 17 November.

The competence of Vladislav Zhdanov will lie in economic security of the Company, he will also be in charge of internal audit and monitoring, risk management.

The position of Vice President with such duties inaugurates in ALROSA for the first time. Increasing the effectiveness of corporate governance and risk management, as well as forming of appropriate business units are envisaged by Corporate Governance Code approved by Russian government.

Vladislav Zhdanov formerly was in charge of marketing risks management and business model optimization at machine-building holding company Zhejiang Noblelift Equipment JSC in CIS and Eastern Europe.

Vladislav Zhdanov was born in 1974, graduated with distinction from Diplomatic Academy of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a degree in Global economy and from Oxford University.
