Eagle Mountain Mining and Nittetsu Mining have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly identify and assess new mineral projects. The agreement expands collaboration between the two companies beyond their existing Oracle Ridge Copper Project joint venture and creates a framework to evaluate future opportunities across Australia, North America and other selected regions.

The 24-month MOU enables both companies to combine their technical expertise and industry experience while reviewing potential mining assets that align with their long-term growth strategies.

Partnership Targets New Mineral Projects

Under the agreement, Eagle Mountain Mining and Nittetsu Mining will work together to identify and evaluate new mineral projects across a range of commodities, including copper, zinc, lead, gold, silver, nickel and lithium. Both companies will jointly review project opportunities before deciding whether to pursue them through future commercial agreements.

The MOU does not commit either party to acquiring or developing projects but establishes a collaborative process for assessing opportunities that meet their strategic and technical criteria.

Collaboration Builds on Oracle Ridge Joint Venture

The agreement strengthens an existing relationship between the two companies, which are already partners in the Oracle Ridge Copper Project in Arizona. By extending their collaboration beyond the current venture, Eagle Mountain Mining and Nittetsu Mining aim to evaluate new mineral projects that could complement their existing portfolios.

The companies said the partnership will leverage their combined mining expertise to identify projects with long-term development potential.

Framework Supports Future Project Evaluation

The MOU provides a structured approach for reviewing new mineral projects while allowing both companies to assess technical, operational and commercial factors before making investment decisions. The framework also gives the partners flexibility to explore opportunities in additional jurisdictions where suitable projects are identified.

Through the agreement, Eagle Mountain Mining and Nittetsu Mining have established a platform for expanding their collaboration as they continue to assess mineral project opportunities aligned with their respective business strategies.
