Devex has attended the first global meeting for structuring Hexagon Mining Marketing, held in early October in Tucson, Arizona, US.
At the meeting, which was coordinated by Hexagon marketing director Aby Varma, other officers of the company and those responsible for marketing the four companies within the mining division: Devex, Leica Geosystems Mining, MineSight and SAFEmine, drew up plans and objectives for joint action on a global level.
Devex marketing manager Gabriel Temponi considered it a very productive meeting, saying: “We are convinced that Hexagon Mining offers customers in the mining segment something great.
“We are the only company in the world with the ability to deliver complete products and solutions focused on priority areas in the mining segment due to the vast and diverse portfolio of our four mining companies that now operate together on a global scale.
“What we aligned in Tucson were strategies to bring this message to our customers and to the mining market.”
