Fresh off the successful conclusion of the 24th China International Foundry Expo and the 19th China International Die Casting Exhibition in Shanghai, the global foundry industry is now shifting its focus from China to Southeast Asia, where Metal Thailand 2026 is preparing to open new avenues for industrial collaboration and growth.

Thailand’s strategic location and strong industrial base make it an attractive destination for manufacturers and suppliers. As one of ASEAN’s most important manufacturing hubs, Thailand offers businesses access to supply chains spanning Southeast Asia.

Highlights of the Exhibition

The event will focus heavily on the future of smart factories and green manufacturing, providing attendees with opportunities to understand emerging policy frameworks, market trends, and technological shifts shaping the next phase of industrial development.

  • Complete foundry supply chain: high-quality castings, industrial raw materials, and advanced production & processing equipment
  • Automotive manufacturing and automotive aftermarket products (supporting Thailand’s dominant automotive manufacturing industry)
  • Moulds, dies and professional tooling equipment
  • Industry exchanges, technical sharing and business networking

A key highlight of Metal Thailand 2026 is its focus on four critical thermal processing sectors – foundry, forging, heat treatment, and welding – making it a one-stop platform for technologies, equipment, and materials, while offering integrated solutions for the broader manufacturing chain.

Another major attraction lies in Thailand’s industrial upgrading policies and the benefits offered under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which continue to reduce trade barriers and create new growth opportunities for manufacturers.

The exhibition is built around four core value pillars: authoritative industry endorsement, targeted buyer engagement, focused thermal processing technologies, and effective matchmaking activities. Backed by three national-level industry associations and partnerships with more than 20 industry bodies across Southeast Asia, the event is expected to attract strong participation from authentic procurement networks.

Several concurrent events will further strengthen the show’s value proposition, including the 7th Asia Foundry Forum, the China-Thailand Entrepreneurs Exchange Conference, Thailand Investment Policy and Industrial Park Information Sharing sessions, and organized factory visits.

Metal Thailand 2024

Metal Thailand 2026 is aiming to be more than just a trade show. It seeks to become a catalyst for industrial upgrading and cross-border cooperation across Southeast Asia’s rapidly evolving manufacturing landscape.

Let’s explore how the foundry and metalworking industries will be redefined at Metal Thailand 2026, the integrated platform for machinery and automotive manufacturing covering metal forming processes, equipment, materials and mold technologies serving the entire Southeast Asia, from 14-16 October 2026, at BITEC, Bangkok!
