MAJOR, a global manufacturer specializing in high-performance wire screen media, is set to showcase its latest screen media technologies at Hillhead 2026, taking place from 23rd June to 25th June 2026 at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, United Kingdom. The company will exhibit at Stand PA3, where it plans to present its FLEX-MAT® screen media and woven wire screens to quarry and mine operators attending the event.
“Hillhead gives quarry and mine operators the chance to have direct conversations with our team about how to move more material through their screening process with less blinding and pegging,” said Mike Offermans, Director of Sales and Market Development in Europe.
“With our recent expansion in Europe through our partner, Haver & Boecker Niagara, and the support of strong local industry expertise, customers get the right solutions faster across the UK and Ireland. Together, we are further streamlining our European footprint to address the market’s unique challenges while helping customers improve production targets,” he added.
According to the company, the screen media solutions on display will include FLEX-MAT® Modular Screen Media, FLEX-MAT® Tensioned Screen Media and woven wire screens designed for demanding screening environments.
The FLEX-MAT® Modular Screen Media range combines the established benefits of FLEX-MAT technology with a modular design intended to withstand harsh screening conditions. The company said the series offers high open area, efficient stratification, and reduced blinding and pegging, while also being available in D, S and T series patterns suited to different material sizes and shapes.
MAJOR will also present FLEX-MAT® Tensioned Screen Media, which incorporates lime-green polyurethane strips enabling each wire to vibrate independently from hook to hook to improve stratification and screening efficiency. The screen media product is offered in both side-tensioned and end-tensioned configurations, with optional side seals, overlaps and crown deck adapters.
MAJOR’s woven wire screens, engineered with OPTIMUMWIRE®, will also be featured at Hillhead 2026. The company stated that the screens are manufactured with extremely tight crimps and a precise weave pattern aimed at extending wear life and improving screening consistency.
“European quarries and mines are under constant pressure to increase throughput without increasing maintenance costs,” said Matej Grm, MAJOR’s European Territory Manager.
“OPTIMUMWIRE is engineered to help our customers screen more material in the same period of time while reducing the frequency of changeouts and improving overall efficiency. At Hillhead, our focus is on identifying screen media solutions that deliver measurable value to their applications and addresses their unique challenges,” he added.
MAJOR is a HAVER & BOECKER company and will exhibit at Hillhead 2026 alongside its sister company, Haver & Boecker Niagara. More can be learnt about the benefits of MAJOR screen media at www.majorflexmat.com.
