Eumerella Resources’ 70% controlled Myanmar subsidiary Mawsaki Mining has held numerous recent meetings with the Department of Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration (DGSE) aimed at finalising an agreement regarding the terms and conditions of the exploration area in the State of Kayah in Myanmar.

Mawsaki received State Government approval for its exploration permit in October 2014.

Since then Mawsaki has been progressing with the process towards being granted the required approvals to clear the way for consideration of the proposed exploration terms and conditions by Cabinet of Union Government of Myanmar.

This approval process is the next step following the successful negotiations over the licence area with the Office of Chief Minister, Kayah State Government, Chief Minister, Ministry of Forest and Mines, both the State Forest Department and State Land Records Department in Loikaw, and Office of Township Administration, Hpahsaung.

ASX-listed Eumeralla understands that approval by the Union Government will be the final step in the approval process.

In Myanmar, the company has three separate JV partners with applications pending for several mining leases. The biggest of which is the 400sqkm concession in Kayah State, which hosts the historic Mawchi Tungsten mine.

Meantime, in Mongolia Eumerella previously engaged Lunda LLC to perform an IP/Res Gradient Survey. The survey work has been completed and Lunda and is preparing a report to be submitted to the Mineral Resources Authority of Mongolia.

In Mongolia, the licence covers an area of 12,657 hectares and encompasses the historic Chuluun Khoroot tungsten mine, which was active from 1945 to1955. The licence is in northeast Mongolia, about 20km north of the town of Dashbalbar, 850km northeast of Ulaanbaatar and 85km northwest of the Solowevsk-Choibalsan railway.
