Founded in 1986, China Foundry Association (CFA) is comprised of foundry enterprises, local foundry associations, foundry related enterprises, technical and research institutes, colleges and universities voluntarily. It is a national first-class organization in the foundry industry registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and it is affiliated to SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission) of the State Council of P. R. China. China Foundry Association is the chairman unit of the Presidium of China Federation of Industrial Economics, the vice-chairman unit of China Machinery Industry Federation, the vice-chairman unit of China Association for Machinery Standardization, the vice-chairman unit of China Social Organization Standardization Alliance/China Society Standardization Alliance, the vice-chairman unit of National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Center, and the vice-chairman unit of China Industrial Photography Association. The Open University of China/Foundry College, the Foundry Center of the Machinery Industry Skills Appraisal Center, and the Training Office for Foundry Industry of the Technical Training and Ability Evaluation Committee for the Mechanical Industry’s Physical and Chemical Inspection Personnel are also established in China Foundry Association.
